Dining Out in the Seychelles
MAHÉ ISLAND
Mahé is the largest and most developed island of the Seychelles, with lots of dining options on offer - and something to suit everyone’s taste.
Mahek is an Indian restaurant on the island of Mahé and serves delicious Indian Food. The restaurant is located in the Coral Strand Hotel behind their main dining room/buffet area, and the menu has a nice selection of meat, chicken, fish, and vegetarian items to choose from.
If you’re a pizza lover, then Baobab Pizzeria is a must. It's located right on Beau Vallon Beach with a street entrance as well as a beach entrance. A truly rustic experience where the floor of the restaurant is soft white beach sand!
If you fancy a refreshing afternoon drink, why not visit the Tea Plantation with a tea shop inside where you can taste and buy the tasty Citronelle tea to enjoy back home.
CERF ISLAND
There are two Cerf Island restaurants and a beach bar that are part of the Cerf Island Resort towards the north of the island. The 1756 Restaurant and Zepis Restaurant in the Cerf Island Resort have magnificent sea views, and have a wide choice of fine traditional Creole and international cuisine. Gentlemen are requested to wear long trousers during the evening.
If you are staying with us at South Point Villas, it really isn’t necessary to eat out as we offer a unique service where we will cook you one main meal per day - for instance lunch or dinner - and all you need to do is pay for the ingredients! We recommend our creole supper which is highly popular with all our guests.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions about the dining available on Cerf Island or Mahé. If you would like to visit any of these restaurants, we can easily arrange for our manager to pick you up and taxi you over by boat at a reasonable surcharge.
